Fall

After 4 days of 100 degree heat, temperatures dropped into the 70s. I've been able to wear scarves again. Wearing a scarf nurtures my spirit.

So on this, my long day, I've been sitting in my office, listening to Chet Baker (sans earphones, even) and knitting away at my final swap project for the sock monkey swap.

I've got a list of things to do, but it's not unreasonable. I've plenty of options for the weekend that begins for me tomorrow: Food Truck Friday, Mexican Independence Day festivities, a night skate at the DIY skate park under the viaduct, knitting guild perhaps, a rock star gig, and R-rated Knit Night.

Or I could just wear scarves, curl up in my armchair, knit, and watch movies.
