I thought I had gotten busted for knitting in public this morning, but when the professional development coordinator plunked into the chair next to me at the end of our three-hour faculty training, I didn't get in trouble after all. It turns out that both she and the vice president of academic affiars are knitters.
I'm about 2/3 done the second sock.

That is too fantasic! I love moments like that.
KIP is good. KDM (during meetings) is better. KDBRM (during boring required meetings) is the best of all.
As a student the dean of academic affairs used to intimidate me. It was like going to the principals office even when you haven't done anything wrong. As a knitter...she still kind of does. She is a perfectly nice person, but when she comes in to the shop I still feel like the Dean of Academic Affairs might renig my degree if I sell her the wrong yarn. Or that if she saw my atrocious grammar in knitting blogs that she might take my needles away. *grin*
