The Olympics make me very, very happy. The smartest thing the committee ever did was to reshuffle the games so that we now have Olympics every two years instead of every four. I like not having to wait four years to be this happy.
I wish I could say that I've been fully occupied with knitting Olympics, but four house guests somewhat unexpectedly showed up for the weekend.
They were lovely house guests: fun*, low maintenance, plus they woofed down absolutely everything I cooked. While they were off giving fiddle workshops, I could watch the Olympics. It was the best of all worlds.
The grading though? What with the Olympics and the company, it hasn't been too bad. I've been spending my days like this:
It's nice to have something to balance out the stack of papers in my lap.

My, what a lovely bolster pillow you have!
Unfortunately, that purse is no longer available on Amazon. I've been looking for it too.
I found some for sale by running a search for "rubber chicken purse." Spotted one for $25.
I love that purse! I'm sure no one would be surprised or comment!
