I am off for the weekend to teach a group of small children how to do nineteenth-century dance. I've done a bazillion children's dance programs before, but this one is different. It' s more of immersion experience, with the children living a nineteenth-century life. They'll have school all day Saturday, including the dance lesson and an art lesson.
For some reason, it's making me more nervous to teach this handful of children than it has ever done to have taught a hundred children.
In the meantime, here's a photo of the doll-sized shawl I knitted. Phoebe looks so real once you lose a sense of scale.
