Just before I left town, I spent the day knitting with Ann and cranked out the Wham Bam Thank You Lamb cowl, in Mardi Gras colors, natch.
It's a lovely, simple pattern: simply a rectangle with an offset seam.
I followed helloyarn's modifications. Using the scale, I wound one hank of Malbrigo worsted into two pieces and knit and knit and knit and knit. Having done the provisional cast-on, I kitchenered the seam. I've struggled in the past with kitchener in garter stitch, but this time went like a piece of cake.
It took some creative piecing, and when I was all done, what you see on this 12" tile was all that was left:
Really. Wham bam, indeed.
