Closing In

I can't wait to knit again. In fact, I will be treating myself tonight. The house guests (who were lovely and very understanding) are gone. The gigs (which went very well) are done. And many, many, many papers are graded.

Currently remaining in the stack:

• 3 10-page research papers, one of which has definitely been plagiarized
• 7 3-page position papers
• 1 very badly written 5-page essay analyzing 2 articles
• 6 5-page proposal papers dealing with a local environmental issue
• 20 final exams

I had a student forget her final today and show up weeping and breathless 2 hours late. At least I know I'm doing better than that.

And there was birthday yarn.
