Farewell to Mardi Gras

I will miss Mardi Gras time because this year, I only went to one brunch, one parade (on Twelfth Night), and only ate two king cakes, one of which was crappy. I didn't get any beads because I missed the grand parade, the pet parade, and tonight's parade.


My Mardi Gras knitted socks were not a success, and I didn't knit my Mardi Gras mohair project. The strap on my Mardi Gras fur halter broke.

I didn't drink nearly enough hurricanes or bloody marys.

Poor me. And now it's Lent on top of it all.

At least I got to enjoy changing the towels.
