I didn't die or anything, but had really limited online access this summer. I have also had some issues with "voice," meaning I have been doing some other writing that required me to be perky and sassy. For a variety of reasons, I haven't been feeling particularly perky or sassy, so I've felt a bit voiceless.
That said, my friend Christopher helped me pick out a laptop, and I have been able to get sporadic wifi. My excuse of inaccesability is now gone. I am putting up this fairly lazy post just as a way of easing back into blogging regularly. Expect some newsy blogs for a bit until I get my voice back.
Today I received two gifts: 
this Mardi Gras colored project bag from a customer visiting from Japan
and this pressed penny from my friend Tempest Tea.
Both made what has been a long week that much more delightful.
I'm so glad you're back. And I hope you become full-voiced again soon.
