I do a lot of bartering of knitwear for other items and have been meaning to show off my most recent trade.
I knitted a pair of undersleeves in exchange for two fancy hairnets (don't you dare call them snoods!). The first hairnet was a plain black velvet one, but to make the trade roughly worth the cost of the sleeves, I asked for an extra-fancy second net, something with gobs of geegaws and to be worn with my wrapper.

While I feel like I have spaniel ears, I do love the net.
Yesterday, I picked up the yarn to make a new pair of undersleeves.
I love that you used the word geegaws.
