Undersleeves

This weekend I outright sold two sets of undersleeves and bartered for a third, all of which helps fill the gap between my last paycheck of summer school and my first of the school year.

The sale also means that I need to replenish my supply of undersleeves.

I've placed an order for yarn to make sleeves in white/light green, white/pale yellow, black/taupe, black/olive, red/brown, and another black/purple combination.

Why those colors? My friend Vivian, of The Mantua Maker, has some gorgeous day caps and hair nets in those colors and I was inspired by their beauty.

Now, if I could just sell a few Civil War purses . . .

Those undersleeves look great! I may have to make myself a pair.

Just out of curiosity ... how much are you selling those purses for?

I sell the sleeves for 75 and the purse for 30. You never make back your time in knitting, but at least it's fun to do :)
