This weekend, my last swap partner sent me a late enclosure for the Magic Yarn ball swap: a hair-tamer out of Goa.
Although the swap ended several weeks ago, the arrival of the hair-tamer was perfectly timed. I had just returned from a Civil War reenactment and had the filthy hair to show for it.
On my way to the reenactment, I finished September's socks one week early and was able to use them as a prop in a tableaux vivant.
October's socks are on the pins, for someone I won't see until next May, while I set aside the baby hood I was working on for a baby due this fall.
I'm sure whenever they're done (either socks or baby), it will end up being just the right time.
