I'll attach a note with instructions that the tassels can be safely cut off if the recipient doesn't like them. 2178-109 is a pattern from 1962, and when I tried it on, I immediately noticed that it didn't muss the hair.

Thanks! The pattern is from Bernat 1962, and since Bernat is still in existance, I suspect they've renewed their copyright. Who knows, maybe this style will make a comeback :)
