In one evening, I made great progress on the beaded miser's purse. It looked like this before I ran out of beads and had to wait for my order to arrive:
Now it looks like this:
Somehow I forgot how the whole beading thing works. First my loops were wonky, then they were in the wrong spot. The purse stitch calls for P2tog, yo, and it turns out that dropping any of the above makes very, very bad things happen fairly quickly. It also turns out that knitting with black perle cotton on 000s sucks, and ripping black perle cotton with 000s sucks even more. It may also fray the thread a bit.

It gave me a headache when you first posted about this purse in October. How could anyone have the patience or brains to make such a thing? But you've proven that the other half of a superhuman is human! : )
